This show has been held for several years, but this was my first time here. Held at Les Bird's Bar in South Superior, there was a nice turnout of about forty vintage and antique snowmobiles. As seems to happen quite frequently as of late, the weather was great for gawking at sleds but not for riding them. A cloudy day to start, the sun began peeking out by early afternoon and the temperatures were in the 40's. About a dozen of us went for an eight mile ride in the nearby Superior National Forest. The trails in the forest were actually quite good, but the route getting there and back from the show site traversed a lot of bare asphalt and gravel.
