This was the third annual show presented by the Snowmobile Hall Of Fame. There was a decent display of restored and original sleds. In a reversal of last year's lineup, there seemed to be a good mix of race and trail sleds, and several "survivor" class entries.
It seemed to me that the total number of sleds was down a bit from last year. My guess is that current fuel prices are causing people to curtail their travel, especially the folks to the west who had the Thief River Falls show last weekend and Milbank next weekend.
There was once again a nice gathering of swappers on hand, and the swap area was well organized, if a little damp from an early morning rain storm. With no active projects in the works, my shopping was limited. I did however score a few rare parts for my 72 Scorpion from Dean Peterson, and a couple other necessities from Dennis Kutz.
