After a two year layoff, I returned to the Eagle River show in 2009. As was the case for most of this fall, the weather was beautiful, sunny and in the upper 70's. My daughter Jennifer spent the day with me which is always a treat.

As has been the case in recent years, the outdoor show was almost non-existant. I long for the old days of the outdoor show where the owners were usually close by to talk to. The show portion of this event sadly seems to get smaller each year. The show lines in the exhibit hall were maybe 75 percent full. There few a few decent vendors in the swap area, but certainly not up to par with similar events.

We did get to walk through the World Snowmobile Headquarters on the north end of the track. Nice exhibits and the admission was free.
