Here's how it looked when I bought it in April of 2009. The sled was obviously well cared for and not abused. The front bumper is dented and partially straightened. It will be a challenge to get it straighter and repair the mounting point behind. New or good used bumpers are very hard to find.

The seat is in perfect condition, a real rare find.
The engine shroud with the cover and all internal baffling is intact. Often times many of these parts get tossed to make servicing easier.

The hooks on the hood tiedowns are bent out of shape and will need replacing. The primer is missing.

The muffler outlet has had an amateur repair, a nasty looking welding job and a bolt through the pipe to hold it on. This won't last and will be replaced. The drive belt is worn down very narrow. A few plastic fasteners are missing.

All bogey suspension on this model. One of the two models that did not use Pararail in '73. Four of the six bogey springs are broken. The track is studded (not recommended for a poly track) and many edge cracks in the 1"-2" range. I think I will replace the track for peace of mind.

The belly pan is great. Skis will need some paint, but are sound and straight. You can see some bumper alignment issues here due to the broken mount where it was hit.

A better rear bumper will go on, this one is a bit rusty. The passenger handles have some corrosion, but are not as bad as I usually find. This model has the economy black taillight trim. I like it better than chrome myself.
