One of the best Hurley vintage rides I've been a part of yet. Snow conditions were good. Temperatures not too cold for the riders or too hot for the vintage iron. The most popular sled by far was the mid-60's Polaris Super-Pacer. It gathered a crowd at every stop, and the owner was busy answering questions. And get this... he bought it at an auction 15 years ago for $16 just as you see it. The run across the Gile Flowage was awsome. There was a hard crust of snow with about one inch of fresh snow on top, and a perfectly flat surface. I've never been to the Bonneville salt flats, but this must be what it's like. Ran my Scorpion wide open for quite a distance and she was singing like the fat lady at the opera. The fastest I've run it since restoration, and quite satisfying that it ran so well.
